Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Many are so involved with trying to make ends meet, they don’t seem to have any time to spend with the Lord. Stress in some lives is so high, they seem to be at their wit’s end. This is not the plan of God for your life, because Jesus tells you in the above verse, to put Him in first place, then He will meet your needs.
People are looking for feeling, joy, peace, experiences and satis-faction, but frequently don’t acquire lasting results. Many spend large sums of money, but are not satisfied. Focus your attention on Jesus, find out what He wants you to do concerning His kingdom, seek His right-eousness, then the blessings you seek will follow. Since He created the world, He knows what is needed to give you lasting happiness.
Ask Him to direct your activities today, and as you obey His instructions, He will fulfill His promise.
